User Data Deletion – Waslo

Last updated: 19 August 2026

Overview

This page explains how to request deletion of data associated with Waslo and/or a Facebook or Meta integration connected to Waslo. Waslo merchants, Facebook Page admins, and other individuals who believe Waslo holds data about them may use this process.

Related information is also available in our Privacy Policy.

How to request deletion

  1. Email contact@waslo.tn.
  2. Use a subject such as Data Deletion Request.
  3. Provide enough information for us to identify the relevant Waslo account, business, or Facebook Page. Helpful details may include the Waslo login email, shop or business name, and the Facebook Page name. Do not send passwords, Page access tokens, app secrets, or other credentials.
  4. Waslo will verify the request where necessary. We may ask follow-up questions to confirm that the requester is authorized to make the request.
  5. Relevant data under Waslo’s control will be deleted or anonymized as appropriate, subject to legitimate legal, accounting, billing, or security retention requirements.

Facebook and Messenger data

If a merchant connected a Facebook Page to Waslo, Waslo may hold Page identifiers, Page name where available, Messenger conversation and participant identifiers, message identifiers, message content, timestamps, message direction, and related metadata needed to operate the integration.

A deletion request may cover that Facebook/Messenger-related data associated with the identified Waslo account or Page, to the extent it is under Waslo’s control.

Disconnecting an integration

A merchant can disconnect their Facebook integration from Waslo through the integrations settings where that option is supported. Disconnecting stops Waslo from using that connection for new Messenger activity according to the product behavior at the time of disconnect.

Disconnecting an integration and requesting deletion are related but not necessarily identical. Disconnecting may stop new data from being received; it does not automatically mean that all historical data has been erased. If you want stored data deleted, send a deletion request as described above even if the integration has already been disconnected.

What we may retain

We may retain limited information where we have a legitimate need to do so, for example records required for accounting, billing, security investigations, dispute handling, or compliance with law. Where we retain information for these reasons, we limit it to what is needed for that purpose.

Waslo does not promise a specific deletion deadline on this page. We handle requests as promptly as reasonably possible after we have verified them.
